Requirements for Purchases of $2500 or less:
The Government Purchase Card program is primarily designed to streamline the Government’s acquisition of goods and services valued at under $2500. The program enables designated individuals outside contracting offices to make purchases directly using the purchase card. The program also provides advantages to merchants who accept the purchase card because it cuts down on paperwork and expedites payments to them.
